Public guideReviewed 2026-07-27

What you buy from Silurian

The order records the Google Workspace edition, billing commitment, number of user licences and primary domain. Silurian manages the ResellerClub subscription, invoices, licence changes and renewal status; Google supplies the Workspace applications and administrator console.

New subscription or transfer

Choose a new subscription when the domain has no active Google Workspace tenant. If Workspace already exists with Google or another reseller, contact Silurian before checkout so we can confirm edition, commitment and transfer-token eligibility. Moving the subscription does not require moving the domain registration or DNS hosting.

Purchase and activation

The authenticated Workspace form asks for a domain, plan, licence count, initial administrator and an external recovery email.

  • Add the configured subscription to the V2 cart and confirm the billing account.
  • Silurian rechecks current provider cost and Google public-price evidence before the order is created.
  • After payment, Silurian reviews the domain and existing Workspace state.
  • For a new tenant, ResellerClub creates the requested initial Super Admin and sends its credentials to the external recovery address.
  • The customer signs in to Google Admin and accepts Google's terms directly before activation.
  • Complete Google domain verification and publish the supplied MX records.

Domain and DNS

The Workspace domain can be registered and hosted anywhere. Google normally requires a verification record and mail-routing records. Changing MX records moves new incoming mail to Google, so plan the cutover and preserve any existing mail before replacing them.

Licence quantities and commitments

Each active user normally needs one licence; aliases generally do not. Flexible plans permit month-to-month quantity changes. Annual plans commit the purchased licence quantity for the current term, so reductions normally take effect at renewal while additions can be made during the term.

Two administration modes

Subscription administration is always available in Silurian. Without an optional directory connection, use Google Admin to create or remove users and manage groups. A connected tenant can create and suspend users, manage aliases and group membership, and assign contracted licences from Silurian. Google Admin remains available and is still required for organisational units, applications, advanced security, devices, retention and audit settings.

Connect an existing tenant

Only the client-account owner can authorise the connection.

  • Read and accept the published Workspace management authorisation in Silurian; the signed acceptance is retained as evidence.
  • Sign in to Google Admin as a Super Admin and assign the displayed service account a limited administrator role for users, groups and licence management.
  • Return to Silurian and verify the connection.
  • Remove the role in Google Admin and disconnect in Silurian whenever administration from Silurian is no longer wanted.

New tenant handover

The requested customer-domain Super Admin is created as the initial administrator and its provider-generated credentials are delivered to the external recovery address recorded with the order. The customer signs in and accepts Google's terms directly. Silurian records the operational confirmation before activating the subscription; an optional service-account connection is a separate later choice and never blocks subscription, billing or renewal management.

Transferred tenant handover

The existing customer Super Admin remains in place. After the reseller transfer, that Super Admin signs in and accepts Google's new reseller terms directly. Optional administration from Silurian can be authorised and connected later without changing the subscription.

Permission and data boundary

The service account is not a Super Admin and Silurian never asks for the customer's Google administrator password. The connection requests only directory-user, alias, group, group-membership and licence-assignment access. It does not request Gmail message, Drive file, Calendar, Vault, device or advanced-security access. Google records service-account administrator actions in its audit logs.

Renewal, suspension and support

Keep the billing profile and authorised contact current before renewal. A failed renewal can interrupt Workspace services. Silurian can investigate subscription, billing, reseller-order and connected-directory state. The customer remains the owner of the Google tenant and can always use Google Admin or disconnect administration from Silurian.
